The Fiesta FMS (Fleet Management System) was implemented last July 15, at the Fiesta Plant in Medina.

The project duration spanned six months, from the initiation of the project, until its first release.

This is the first system to be completed by JQITC for Fiesta. It is an online, web based system, written in PHP with a Postgresql database.

It replaces the existing FMS software, which was written in Visual Basic with Oracle as the database.

With the new FMS, Fiesta management can monitor the system in real time from the Head Office in Makati.

Report generation is also web based, and also available real time from the Makati office.

The FMS is our pilot project with Fiesta, and is our proof of concept in proving the many advantages of building systems using an Open Source, web based platform.
