Asia Pacific College is an educational partnership of two prominent corporations in the Philippines, SM Foundation and IBM Philippines.

From its inception in 1991, APC has evolved into an excellent scholastic institution, devoted to educating students in information technology, commerce, engineering, accountancy, entrepreneurship, multimedia arts and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the global community in the 21st century.

Quality Standard
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) identified the School of Computer Science and Information Technology of Asia Pacific College as one of the nine (9) Centers of Excellence (COE) in Information Technology Nationwide (only 4 in Metro Manila) for 2007-2010 Centers of Excellence (COEs) are higher education institutions (HEIs) both public and private which have demonstrated the highest level of standards in the areas of instruction, research and extension.
